Senior Procurement Officer

As Senior Procurement Officer, Shaun is responsible for managing a team of procurement specialists as well as the related procurment activity for the Department's Information and Intelligence Capital Projects. This includes providing forecasts and costing estimates for capital projects as well as procurement advice to project members.

Shaun joined the Department of National Defence after a successful competition for a position that was advertised on the Public Service Commission website. A Bachelor of Arts degree coupled with his experience with warehousing, sales, distribution, logistics and inventory control in the private sector qualified him for this exciting position.

He likes the people he works with and finds them bright, personable and very professional. He also finds the nature of the work very rewarding.
